Photographer's Note

Still with the collection taken on the day of the TE meet in Amsterdam - we are deep into the evening and seeking a pub at this stage.......

It took a little while to work out why people were walking along this corridor on the external face of this building and passing through barely discernable doors into some interior sanctum. They walked confidently as if at work and on some urgent or at least pressing errand. To the best of my knowledge this was a shop - I think selling clothes but I could be wrong - who had chosen a window display of a bold and somewhat surreal nature......for the secret of the mysterious external window display corridor was that all of these people were heading for the tollet........I don't know what the laws are in Holland but I really didn't know was only later i worked it out......

...for all the world this looks like my youngest daughter in this picture...something i didn't notice until later you will appreciate timing was everything here to catch the figure at the right moment against all the vertical tones sufficiently to delineate her form....sorry I'm starting to nullify the potential to critique.................
