Photographer's Note

Trandal is a very small place. To reach this destination you need to travel by boat/ferry. Since the population in remote areas like this are moving away the frequency of the ferry is less and less, making life even harder for those who choose to live where their family settled down for years ago. The population is now about 15 people, the school is shut down and the laughter by children are gone. My father and his wife has built a business here and another family is running this very nice pub out here (you can see the pic & note for "the great swing"), creating hope and life. Since my father's business is fjordfishing and rental of cabins there are actualy a lot of things going on here and people visiting are coming back, and back and back... ;)
This weekend I'll finish up my cabin and I'm looking forward to spend some more time here with my family and the nature. Here you see a small piece of how some of the farms are located. It's not easy to reproduce the mighty nature here in 2-D (pic & note), among this mountains called the "alps of Norway"...

some levels and usm.
