Photographer's Note

After a series of photos of the interior of the Baroque church in Brzeg, I will post photos of the Gothic church of St. Nicholas.
The church was built between 1370 and 1420 as a Katholic basilica. In 1525, the church of St. Nicholas began to function as a Protestant church, continuing this role until 1945. During the Second World War the wooden furniture was burnt, remains of it are in museums in Brzeg, Wroclaw and Poznan.
The church has modest furnishings, but that is why the height of the nave (30m) is clearly visible. In my picture you can see a stained glass window above the altar.
