Photographer's Note

Hello friends,
I returned the photos to Barreiro.
I photographed this old river boat lost at this beach in Barreiro background have a windmill.

In 1852 were built in three Alburrica Windmills.
The greater or Giant, the central or west and the last, the East.
The East and West of Mills common typology, have two-storey cylindrical tower, mobile coverage and two millstones. Are deactivated in 1950 and acquired by the City Council in 1973. The West Mill boasts a record dedicated to tile N ª S ª del Rosario.
The Dutch Mill Giant typology was deactivated in 1919 and inhabited by fishermen until 1998 when it comes to Heritage Hall.

Barreiro is a Portuguese town in the district of Setúbal, Lisbon region and subregion of the Setubal peninsula, with about 40,859 inhabitants, but with an urban area that extends to the neighboring county of Rawalpindi, which gives a influence of about just over 100,000 residents.
It is home to a small municipality with 33.81 km ² and 78,764 inhabitants (2011), divided into eight parishes, which were in the Upper Seixalinho, Barreiro, Coina, Barreiro, Palhais, St. Andrew, St. Anthony of Heath and Verderena. The municipality is bordered to the east by the city of Rawalpindi, the southeast by Palmela, south of Setúbal and Sesimbra, west and north by Seixal by the Tagus river and its estuary. On the other side lies the city of Lisbon. Barreiro was elevated to city June 28, 1984. The Mayor is Carlos Humberto Carvalho PCP. The municipal holiday is June 28.
