Photographer's Note

We were driving to Bohinj Lake out from Bled through a forested area when we spotted this cemetery through the trees. It looked very orderly and turned out to be the small Ukanc WW1 war cemetery.
The 200 or so occupants were from a range of Eastern Europe countries, including Ukraine and Russia. There were also quite a few unidentified burials as well - see the workshop.

Best in the large view.
