Photographer's Note

I have visited Barcelona last weekend. On Saturday evening walking in the Montjuic we have noticed a huge crowd gathering in the area in front of the Palau Nacional. We did not know what to expect but we intended to wait there for the blue hour anyway. It appeared to be a fantastic water fountain music show. Huge fountains were dancing to the music for about an hour. I believe it is becoming increasingly popular. Las Vegas being the most spectacular one I have seen. But this one had certainly the best setting.

Do you know the scene from the Bible when Jesus after 40 days of fasting was tempted by Satan. Satan took Him to the top of a mountain, and showed Him all the treasures of the world saying: Haec omnia tibi dabo si cadems adorabeis me (I will give you all of this if you adore me). You can imagine how pretty has to be the view from the hill Tibidabo (which you can see in the background of this picture with an illuminated church on top of it) if they decided to name the mountain after those words. But the view from Montjuic seems to be tempting enough.
