Photographer's Note

I've been posting a few drone photos lately, so its time to head back to Spain and see what I saw during my time there.

I'll get back to local drone photos in the near future.

Here we have the Cathedral of Barcelona in the Gothic Quarter of the city. You can easily see why its a tourist attraction, its easily spotted and stands out profoundly as you're walking around the city streets.

In case you're wondering, Yes, you can climb up the towers for views of the city - which we did. The views were somewhat disappointing actually, but I'm still glad we did it.

Its not my best technical shot, but who cares, I still wanted to show this one to you today :)

Obviously this is a blue hour shot in the evening hours, its a 6 second long exposure taken with my tripod. Some people in the fg are ghosted, some are in focus. It was super hard to fit the Cathedral in the frame, what you can't tell is that i'm backed up as much as possible here. I had absolutely no room left behind me, so this is as far as I could go. This is why the church is squeezed in so tightly at the top. If I zoomed out any further there would be too many distortions from the towers, this was the best option.

My wife and I came back here a few days later for our pre-wedding day photos. She was walking around in her wedding gown, and I was in my tuxedo. We attracted a lot of attention :) I'll post two photos in the WS with one of us in the Gothic Quarter, just around the corner from this church.
Gert asked me if we brought our wedding attire from Canada, and the answer is yes. We walked around Barcelona for 1 full day, carrying luggage, with about 3 or 4 changes of clothing! It was very tiring, but worth it :)

PS
Its happened again where i'm seeing 2 completely different exposures/brightness/darkness compared to my laptop and my computer. The computer version is very dark, too dark, and the yellows are too yellow. I hope this looks ok - sigh
