Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer my walks round a view of the southern part of the city. Hope you like it, then some letters over the city.

Ronda is a town and Spanish municipality in the autonomous community of Andalusia, located in the northwest of the province of Malaga. Is the head of judicial party namesake and the capital of the region of the Serrania de Ronda.

Ronda has its origin in the Roman Arunda that would be from existing Iberian settlements. The Visigoths gave continuity to the arrival of the Muslims, who consolidated their role of regional head and its urban entity. Its location facilitated the defense of the city and placed in a strategic position to master the steps and paths towards Lower Andalusia. This and the availability of land suitable for agriculture finally granted a remarkable historical significance.

The city sits on a plateau cut by a deep pit dug by the Guadalevín River, looming buildings of its historic center, which gives the city a picturesque panorama that, coupled with the variety of monuments that has, in natural environment and its proximity to the large centers of mass tourism of the Costa del Sol, Ronda has made a remarkable resort. The cornice of the pit and the bridge that saves are the quintessential image of the city

The passage of people through a territory and an era has always left its unmistakable and indelible identity. The sum of all cultural relics that different people were leaving in Ronda, over the centuries, has resulted in a city and surroundings singular and transcendent, a place with body and soul.

Ronda's body gives us an armed urbanism of a different architecture styles and essentially pure that means fundamentally beauty. That same body to which we refer also gives us a unique natural environment where the visitor feels tourist but a traveler who enjoys the landscape in key adventure.

However, if something Ronda occupies a place in prose and verse, in the imagination and memory of famous artists and anonymous visitors, is because it is a city with a soul, a soul that permeates as an enduring perfume that He knows, a soul that is convoluted synthesis from all corners of all the customs and all the people of Andalusia.

Round sighted. He was craggy in the mountains, as a natural extension of the landscape and sunlight, I found the most beautiful city in the world.
