Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer you a view of the facade of the old fishing district of the beautiful city of Hondarribia. I hope you like it, then some letters about the villa.

Fuenterrabía (in Basque and officially Hondarribia) is a city and municipality of the Basque Country, Spain, located in the northeastern end of the province of Guipúzcoa, about 20 km east of the capital, San Sebastián, at the mouth of the Bidasoa River, which acts as a natural border with Hendaye (France). It is part of a cross-border metropolitan area, the Basque city of Bayonne-San Sebastián, with more than 620,000 inhabitants. Fuenterrabía is part of the Eurocity through the Bidasoa Txingudi Transflexity Consortium, with the cities of Irún and Hendaya. The objective of this regional cooperation is to stimulate innovative projects, attract common investments and harmonize a model of sustainable social, territorial and urban development.

It is a tourist and residential town. It is the airport of San Sebastian, known for its location also as Fuenterrabía Airport.

Hello Angel,
Very nice buildings with beautiful balconies painted in different bright colours. But even with these cheerful façades it could have been a dull view without the two persons walking towards us. Every street needs human life to be really interesting. You were also lucky to include the other two persons sitting comfortably with their legs stretched out further back.

Ha! Ha! Angel, you are tackling a similar theme to Lars! Balconies! Balconies! Balconies!

Actually these balconies are more organised, more sedate, offering well maintained facades from which their owners can survey the street.
I like the angled composition, your use of the branches in the top corner and your inclusion of the young couple walking into shot. You have added light contrasts and animated the scene.

Wonderful wooden balconies in different colors on the same facade. Good view that included street action and the wine barrles indicating there is a bar.

Angel, las fachadas de las casas de los pescadores son de color verde o rojo. Cada casa tiene balcones de madera decorados para algunos con flores en maceta. Buen encuadre vertical. Excelente presentación de este estilo arquitectónico.

Una preciosa composicion, en la cual has captado cuatro fachadas diferentes con sus caracteristicos balcones con diferente colorido, como se ven por la ciudad, es un POV fantástico.

what a beautiful architecture!
These balconies are so photogenic, so colorful and stylish.
There is the multitude of colors, the style being similar but differing across the houses.
You made a great job exposing it. The shadow didn't help but it also didn't stop you from recording a fabulous reportage!
Fantastic view from less known area (to me at least) of Spain.
