Photographer's Note

I am pleased to present a photo showing absolutely nothing special, just four persons on a Segway sightseeing tour of Stockholm. They passed me on the street just below Moderna Museet (Museum of Modern Art) on the island of Skeppsholmen (Ship's Islet). There were actually at least three more just behind my back when I took this photo two years ago, but four of them were quite enough for me.

From the 17th century up to the late 1960's Skeppsholmen was mainly used by the Navy – during the 20th century sharing the island with several museums. The building seen down the street was most likely used by the Navy's administration. Now I think it's used by the administration of Moderna Museet.

Here is a larger version.

In case the tourists bothered to look to their right, this is what they saw.

Today, just for once, I also managed to include the map coordinates. Click Map: view in the box to the right.
