Photographer's Note

Kinbane Castle is a little-known jewel in the North Coast of County Antrim. A secluded ruin at the bottom of a steep cliff face, the castle commands excellent views of the surrounding coastline.

My nephew from Australia was visiting over Christmas so I took him out for the day along the North Antrim coast and his particular interest was in historic ruins.

Each time I visit such places I always look what opportunities each weather situation may bring and because of heavy rain that day this little stream had such force that I managed to engage it into my composition. I know the castle is far off but I have other compositions of this one from last year.
