Photographer's Note

The Kingsgate bridge leads to the Durham Cathedral. Durham Cathedral was built in the late 11th and early 12th centuries to house the relics of St Cuthbert (evangelizer of Northumbria) and the Venerable Bede. It is a UNESCO world heritage (http://whc.unesco.org/pg.cfm?cid=31&id_site=370).
The original photo was taken on a rainy day and it is not black and white. I also croped and resized the photo.
