Photographer's Note

Marvi Alley is more than 70 years old and is located in the 12th district of Tehran Municipality. Its an original, old area in southern Tehran and is recently reconstructed in a way that visitors will get a feeling of old Tehran when they pass through the alley.
Marvi canton is apart of Odlajan canton and Odlajan canton is among the five different cantons of old Tehran (Qajar era).
There are several old buildings in this alley such as high school, water reservoir, mosque _its door is seen in the shot and called "Agha Mahmoud Masjed (mosque) " written in one of the styles of Persian calligraphy ( Nasta'ligh) _ and so on.
Its also a shopping center and a crowded place ; except in weekends (Friday) which I took this shot .
