Taken during a blue voyage 14 years ago.

This gentleman is the famous architect Cengiz Bektas who was one of the most famous and most talented architects of Turkey.
On this capture he is explaining to a group of visitors the way how those huge theaters was been built in the antiquity and which kinds of performances took place in them, mainly the unbelievable acustics.
All visitors, those in the first row ow seats and atop the theater at the last seats could very easily hear what the performers was saying or singing.
There are also evidences that those theaters was been also used as parliaments in the antique times.

Unfortunately this gentleman has passed away a few days ago.

He was also the creator of those famous "Blue Voyages" in the fifties, sixties, which was a great trend at those times.

Also this entry is been scanned from a color print.
