Photographer’s Note
Some children close the home of Mimar Sinan in Agirnas (in greek "Αγιοι Αναργυροι"="Agii Anargyri"), a village to the east of Kayseri. I liked the different expresions and postures of these sweet kids.
Mimar (="Arquitect") Sinan was the greatest arquitect of the Ottoman Era, by far, and many of his great works can be seen in large part of the Eastern Mediterranean. He was born in Agirnas by Christian parents in 1491. There 's been a debate going on, about whether his was of Armenian or Greek origins. The Armenians believe that he was Armenian, because his house was in the armenian neighborhood of Agirnas, but some researchers have found records from the time of the "devsirme" (gathering or recruiting of young boys to be trained and become members of the Janissaries or Yeniceri-"new soldiers", the special army forcies of the Sultan) with Mimar Sinan's Christian name, before his recruit and conversion to Muslim, "Iosif Doganoglou" (in greek "Ιωσήφ Δογάνογλου"), which probably proves his greek origins. Anyway, I don't think that it matters, great personalities like him, belong to the whole mankind!
JUST A REMINDER FOR THE GREEK FRIENDS:
Tomorrow, Saturday 19th of December, comes out the 21st edition of Explore Nature magazine (supplement of the daily national newspaper ETHNOS), with the first part (2 more will follow in the next 2 months) of my travelogue, from my long journey to Cappadocia. In the 38 pages of the 1st part, the area covered is the one from Kayseri to Uchisar (***SEE MY COVER PHOTO***).

Hello Hercules,
You found wonderful models for this 4x portrait! Great smiles, each of their expressions is different, you are right. (The one on the right looks a bit suspicious of you :-) )
Perfect composition and beautiful colours.
Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend!

It seems, you had a cheerful interaction over there, as i can see all their smiles deep in their eyes. Every time i see charming children in photos, I look forward to see the day i can have a child.

Hi Hercules,
You have got a good relation with them, their eyes reflect their admiration to you. I do not like people just getting the shot and escape... These kind of photos are usually cold and far from being sensual. You follow the right way...:)

Kalispera Hercules.

Hi Hercules, what a group of cuties, you seem to find the most adorable subjects in your travels. I love that look of awe and innocence you have captured. And what a beautiful historical document, let's hope that the futures of these beautiful children are happy, healthy and successful. TFS and enjoy your weekend, Lisa

Hello Hercules
Not so usual to see portraits in your gallery ;)
They look happy and little shy at the same time! The cobblestones and wall made for an interesting BG.
Congratulations for your cover photo ;)

Hi Hercules
Excellent colour and the exposure is bang on. I like the expressions on the faces of these little imps but I find that it is a bit static because they are all in a row. As you know odd numbers make for better compositions so it might have been better to have the smallest child stand in front of one of the others. Just my humble opinion.

Hi Hercules!
I am having a good laugh with this one, because I see now that it was uploaded the same day as mine. Good one, and very sweet! I love the cobble stone street and the rock wall also. Fine work, kind regards,
Steve
