Photographer's Note

This nice building at the shore of Istanbul's Golden Horn was been built in 1930 and served untill early 2000 as the slaughterhouse of Istanbul.
It was been fully renovated in the year 2003 and serves since than as an art gallery for art exhibitions.
The red boats (kayiks) in the lower part are imitations of old Ottoman boats, which transoported people from one side to the other side of the Golden Horn, at times where there was no bridge crossing it. Nowadays they are 3 bridges over the Golden Horn. And those nice kayiks serves as a turistical attraction.
