Photographer's Note

I do believe that this is a first upload of Yilantas for Trek Earth!

Goynus Vadisi (Valley) lies between Eskisehir and Afyon and is the largest yet known Necropolis of the ancient Phrygian people. The oldest monuments date back from the 8th century BC! Because of an ancient earthquake, you might not immediately recognize the fallen lion's head at first glance. I know I didn't, even when I was standing right in front of it. The sheep in front of the fallen lion seems totally unperturbed. Taken at the Yilantas archaeological site. Here's a spoiler alert.
