Photographer's Note

Today I've spent a full day in Kuzguncuk.
A nice small village -not too far away from the center of Istanbul- on the Asian part of Bosphorus.
From today onwards I'll post a series of captures I've made there.
This first one is quite unique and most probably there is not a similar sample anywhere in the world.
Within a garden, there is a mosque, a Greek orthodox churc and a synagogue.
Here you can seen the dome and the edge of the minarette as well as the belltower of the church.
In Kuzguncuk many temporary artists have their ateliers and there are also many small cafe's where you can enjoy your caffe or tea, or take part in a nice discussion between artists and historians.
On those discussions or lectures it's forbidden to talk about politics.
Some other captures/entries from Kuzguncuk shall follow during next days.
