Photographer's Note
This photograph shows three historic buildings that were restored. The building on the far right is the home of “Rising Tide Theater” Where many plays are performed during the summer. The building in the center, I believe, was a store for purchasing goods. The building on the left was a residence of the fish merchant. Do you notice the gray wooden confinement on the left? This was the place to publicly humiliate a wrongdoer.
This photograph was taken on a cloudy day and it shows a terrible sky. The photograph was sharpened in lab color U. S. M. 100,2,3.

Beautiful scene - stark setting and simple dignified buildings. Colours are superb and the photograph is so well composed. Great work.

Thanks for sharing Jim. Terrible way to publically humiliate someone, but I guess that sometimes it is necessary, no?? I like the way you have captured this. With no cars around, the place looks almost abandoned. I agree that the sky is terrible (Wish there was an easier way of fixing skies with digital!). It appears over exposed. Nicely done though!

Contrast and colors are very good. The description that goes with the picture too. You did a very good job considering it was a sad day.
