Photographer's Note

One of the most rewarding aspects of capturing photos is getting outside of your home territory and finding a place where the scenery is different. New to the senses and rejuvenating to the soul are places like this in the morning.

My oversight for not shooting in raw format for this wonderful scene, not that that would have helped avoid burning the pixels in the upper left. But sun filled mist has so little color and is a real menace to digital sensors. Also what looks like jpeg file compression in the sky above is actually how it looked to the naked eye. What caught my eye was the red bush on the lower right, the stream, and the mist filled mountian background that seemed to pull this whole frame together.

The highway is on the extreme left, and the hydro wires were cloned out to keep the scene natural. That is how I like to enjoy BC....in it's natural state. Hopefully we can keep it that way! Enjoy!
