Photographer's Note

Another Blue Hour photo taken from downtown Vancouver, at the corner of Howe and West Hastings Street.

The building with the windows and lights is the Customs Examining Warehouse, built in the early 1900's. The Iconic Circular Vancouver Harbour Centre in yellow, is seen in the background.

The bright yellow lights really appealed to me, but i have to admitt, it was tremendously difficult to compose this scene. I decided to add in the building on the far left, more so for bordering and framing purposes. It just didn't look right when i cropped it out. Going downtown early Sunday morning is best, as there is very little foot traffic and car traffic, although there is a car in this shot :(

Hope you like it, and i look forward to reading your ideas about composing this.
