Photographer's Note

Steady falling snow is covering the rocky boulders along the Jacques Cartier river ,a strong indication that winter is finally arriving.
Soon the open water will also freeze up, leaving the river to rest for several months beneath a blanket of ice and snow.

I had shot this in colour but the dense clouds and snow failed to bring out any noticeable colours,so I converted it to black and white.
