Photographer’s Note

I was going through my older photos and as I got to green tone I thought that I could post different composition of one of great places in British Columbia. As I said already, is a very magical place where nature manifests its power and beauty in its best form. You have to just keep your eyes open and beautiful compositions will come themselves. This little island in Neilson Wetland is taking bath in wonderful lake surrounded by high mountains. Reflection you see is reflection of surrounding mountains. No PP to that, only increase contrast.

Splendid reflection with this small island lost in the medium, one wants quickly to take a boat and to leave to fishing on this water if calms.

Hi Lucie.
Wow. What a shoot.
As you say, the landscape is incredible, but you did a good work too.
The composition and POV are perfect, playing with simmetry rules, but not being slave of them.
I like also very much the colour range, with a lot of greens and blues. I´d like a bigger file to enjoy even more, but... TE rules!!!

Hi Lucie - This little island is one of my favourite shots of yours. I think you've posted a few pictures of this, and every time it amazes me. I like the colour combination, as well as the detail. One unique thing is the shadow and reflection, pointing in different directions. Stunning!

I can remember a similar scene from last year, either posted by you or someone else Lucie. I have always remembered it. Beautiful view, and the colours are so deep and green, and the reflections are superb. I love the little island. TFS

Une fois de plus c'est très beau.
J'adore la clareté de l'image et ces couleurs saturées.
Le reflet est superbe et j'aime bien ce petit bout de bleu qui nous montre le ciel que l'on ne voit pas.

Today I found in your gallery this excellent photo. Colours and reflections is great but climate adds this little picturesque island with a few trees. Beautiful place! as usual on your pictures :)
