Photographer's Note

While I was at the Palladium Resort in Punta de Mita, Mexico, they've been upgrading and renovating their grounds. This gentleman Moses and a friend were working on putting a new face on the relax pool to make it blend more with it's surroundings and I'm assuming look more natural instead of all the stark blue painted cement.

We had several chats with Moses while he was working and told him everyday how lovely his work was going. It was over 85 degrees and very humid everyday, but he just kept working away. I felt his work was more art than just manuel labor. I hope to go back someday and see the finished result.

He seemed quite surprised I wanted to take his photo, and the lighting situation wasn't the best with the sun shining from behind and above him, but I still captured his smile.

Photo: Cropped first photo, levels, resized, sharpened, did the same for second photo, then copy and pasted them to a blank canvas.
