Detroit Reflections

Back in the Netherlands with lots of new photos, I now have more time to post some of them (and I can prepare them more easily on my home computer as well), so this asks for a new travelogue as well, I guess, which will include photos from our TE-meeting with Murat in Pittsburgh and Brenda in New York City. As always, I will post my photos chronologically, so it will take some time before I’ll get there, though (last year's travelogue includes 111 photos after all and was first finished in April).

First another one from Detroit. It isn’t my first reflection photo from the Motor City (and certainly not the last one in this travelogue either), but this time the mirror was not provided by a car, but instead by the Guardian Building, located at Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit. The tower which is reflected here is part of the Wayne County Building, a government building, which was formerly used as the offices and the courthouse of Wayne County. However, they have recently moved to… the Guardian Building. The Wayne County Building will now be renovated and sold. A photo of the building itself is found in the WS.
