The Governor Thomas Johnson Bridge is a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) bridge in Maryland over the lower Patuxent River joining Calvert and St. Mary’s counties. It is also referred to as the Thomas Johnson Bridge and the Solomons Bridge. It is named for the first governor of Maryland, Thomas Johnson, and was built in 1977.

The north end of the bridge, on the Calvert side, is a quaint tourist town called Solomon’s Island. This was taken from the pier at Solomon’s Island.

Vali Thomas Johnson Köprüsü

Vali Thomas Johnson Köprüsü Maryland’da alt Patuxent Nehri üzerinde Calvert ve St Mary ilçelerini bağlayan 1,5 millik (2,4 km) bir köprüdür. Ayrıca, Thomas Johnson Köprüsü veya Solomon’un Köprüsü olarak anılır. İsmini Maryland’ın ilk valisi Thomas Johnson’dan almıştır ve 1977 yılında inşa edilmiştir.

The long bridge provide a nice dstinction between water and sky, where the river becomes a strait as it get closer to the ocean.
Light through the cloud well collected element on the scenery.

Smart choice of a wide angled, panoramic format, with good sharpness and pastel, minimalist colours. The subtle reflections in the water are nice. Tfs.
