Photographer's Note

It was already sunset, and we were still in line waiting for the bus that would bring us to Hopi Point, one of the viewing areas of the Grand Canyon. The ride would take around 10-15 minutes, and anxious that the sunlight would be gone by the time we reach our destination, I decided to shoot this view with my telephoto lens. I'm glad I did; by the time the bus dropped us off at Hopi Point, the light was almost gone, making the Canyon view quite dark.
