Photographer's Note

Took a short trip to Arizona to check in on my father. He said he wanted to go and see the London Bridge in Lake Havasu city Arizona. The story behind the movement of the original bridge from London over the Thames river is quite fascinating. Here two young ladies are have a tea time under the bridge. Purchased in 1967, constructed in Arizona from 1967-1971 over a canal next to the Lake. The bridge is about 70 miles from any major interstate. You must take secondary roads from interstate 10. A pleasant drive I might add. It is a major tourist center as well as a retirement community. I might also add a very popular spring break destination for the college crowd. An easy daytrip from the Phoenix area.
