Photographer's Note

Six million hand driven rivets, 53000 tonnes of steel, 18,000 cubic metres of cut, dressed and numbered granite blocks, nine years to build, cost ten million dollars to build and during construction sixteen men lost their lives.
Even today it is an imposing and marvelous structure. A must for anyone visiting Sydney to see and experience.

This was shot in the presence of Lisa (delpeoples) and L'Assessore (francio64). However I think L'Assessore's POST of a couple of days ago is a much more interesting POV and composition of the "Coathanger". Yes, it was raining.

Hope you like this capture.

Cheers
Peter
