Photographer's Note

I took this in my early morning walk around Dove Lake on Cradle Mountain. I have never seen such thick, beautiful fog, and I wanted to try and capture it in as many ways as possible. This is a cropped version of a larger shot which I may post seperately at a later time, and I took it because I really loved the beautiful way the stark white trees brought the landscape up to the fog in such an interesting way. I also tried to capture this in a few reflection shots from across the lake, but to no success.

This past trip represents an end of an era for me, in a way, because I have always been mostly preoccupied with landscape photography. However, at the request of numerous people who contacted me from here, I am going to be focusing a great deal on less bleak, more human shots for a while, just to get a feel for those and improve my abilities. I will do landscape as well. Thanks for all of your input.
