Photographer's Note

Something very simple today. Seafoam looking like jellied crushed pearls along the looong beach on the east coast of Fraser Island. (using the imagination) Fraser island is a giant sandbar measuring 120km long and average 15km wide. This was taken when the sun broke through the clouds during the walk from Eurong village to Lake Wabby high viewpoint, a total 16km walk in one day, with 8km return along the beach like this barefoot. It got boring after the first km., with unchanging scenery aside from light conditions, and 4x4 vehicles passing every few minutes. 1.5L of water is NOT enough, and I was ready to collapse upon returning to civilisation. Telstra mobile phone coverage was uninterrupted throughout though. And if this walk is done without a Tshirt, have someone put sun cream on your back or your rucksack's imprint with be etched on your roasted back for weeks. On the positive side, you will be able to cook eggs on your shoulders for breakfast the next morning. Enough about my pain and suffering. The WS shows another version with silvery wet sand. The top part was not darkened separately, just strange light and neat image filter.
