Photographer’s Note
There are many different aspects to Fraser Island, but the awe-inspiring beauty of Lake McKenzie makes it probably the most visited natural site on the island. It is a 'perched' lake, which means it contains only rainwater, no groundwater, is not fed by streams and does not flow to the ocean.

hi adam,
cool pic, i like the three different shades of blue in the lake and the discret reflections of the sun. the woman is a nice touch and the fact that she is not in the center of the picture makes it more interesting.
thanx for sharing

Hello Adam,
This is a pleasant photo of glorious Lake McKenzie. I think it is probably the clearest fresh water I have ever swum in. I think that the background lacks a bit of definition. The person adds plenty of life and purpose to the shot, and I like how the ripples change pattern on her right side.

Not a kind of image I want to see when I'm stuck in the office the whole day :-(...but what a place...I know it's probably not a "purist" kind of landscape photo, but it tells everything about the area...very well captured piece of paradise.
Rgds...Juraj
