Photographer's Note

Sun setting at the end of another glorious warm day in the Mamanucas island chain in Fiji. This particular shot was taken from the shores of Malolo Lailai Island, not far from where the Tom Hanks movie 'Castaway' was filmed. The island was surrounded by tropical reef overflowing with fish. The Mamanucas are found west of Fiji's largest island, Viti Levu. Fijian people would have to be just about the most friendly people on earth. Fiji has about 900,000 citizens, 330 islands and is totally within the tropics. Malolo LaiLai is that 'classic' holiday island, with white coral beaches and plantation coconuts. A place I would most certainly take the three hour flight from Brisbane to visit again! Like to know what you all think.
