Salar de Uyuni Bolivia Photo

Photographer’s Note

This picture was taken in a 5 days tour to the salar in southern bolivia.
It was an amazing tour, to an incredible landscape.
The day was really perfect for taking pictures, and the lake was smooth as a mirror, which helped making the reflection.
the birds in the lake are Flamingos.
This is one of my favourite photos from my first trip to south america in 2001.
For me it is the perfect representative of this amazing continent.
I was there twice since, and i am looking forward to going there again :-)

Hello Vitali,
The technical quality of your shot is not the best, it could use a bit of sharpening, but that does not take anything away from the beauty of the landscape and the perfect composition. The reflection is nice, as is the inclusion of the bit of grass in the foreground.

HEllo Vitali, i realy like the composition with teh plants at the fg and the mountain and reflection. Colors are also beautiful. There is a bit to much noise and that is a pitty.

It is a pity that the quality of the photo is not very good, because the composition is perfect. Colors and reflections are great. You are right, this place is fantastic. I am also looking forward to go back again.
By the way, I was there in 2001, and I had my tour with some people from Israel ! But it was july !
