View from Work - Contrasts Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the view from my work, at the Audit Court of the State of Minas Gerais, on Raja Gabaglia Avenue. It is a higher part of the city of Belo Horizonte, which enables a view of a big part of the city. Here we can see many contrasts, with the slums and the high buildings living side by side. We can also see how the city is full of hills, of ups and downs. The construction we see in the picture is part of the project "Vila Viva" (Live Village), which is making buildings and improving the conditions in the slums. Finally, on the back we have the name of our city - Beautiful Horizon (Belo Horizonte).

Trabalhando e fotografando, né? Já vi que você não perde tempo. A vista é realmente uma beleza, um belo horizonte. As casinhas mais pobres fazem o contraste com os belos prédios e isso deixa a foto bem interessante. A imagem está bem nítida e as cores estão excelentes e equilibradas. Parabéns, grande abraço!

Acho que você gosta mesmo de viver olhando das alturas. Possivelmente uma encarção humana de uma águia. Com uma vista dessa acho que deve ser difícil trabalhar.

Muitos contrastes nesta foto! Existe também um contraste implícito das pessoas que estão trabalhando e daqueles que estão tirando fotos no trabalho! A imagem ficou interessante, e até a cor ajuda a diferenciar bastante as duas regiões, além de deixar a composição bem bonita. Belo trabalho!

pelo menos aqui o nome da cidade se justifica. haha
bela foto, gostod a nitdez, cores e luz. mesmo a favela ficou bem na imagem e adiciona grande costraste. Sim, acho correto a urbanização das favelas, é uma maneira do estado tomar controle de seu território, incluir o povo destes locais dentro da cidade

A large cityscape with a greta depht and rich in details well collected and especially in contrast in the architectur. Excellent photowork with a framing well selcetd and a good mangament of light. Very interesting post for TE.

This bird's-eye view gives a very good idea about the city, which is so nice and big, but unfortunately little known here, in Ukraine. Now due to your photo I know that Belo Horizonte is worth visiting. Fortunately, earlier this month our ministers for Foreign Affairs came to an agreement about travels between Brazil and Ukraine without visas. So your shot and note can be considering as good additional information for attracting tourists to the city. Excellent job!

Morei em BH quando criança, a cidade já era populosa mas a situação piorou quando as pessoas do interior, expulsas pela mecanização da agricultura, tomaram de assalto a cidade, fazendo dela uma das capitais mais populosas. Aí está o resultado, mão de obra desqualificada, sub-empregada, vulneráveis à ação dos traficantes...
Excelente imagem, a luz está espetacular, nitidez impressionante. A ondilação da serra, azulada sob o céu azul, justifica o nome.

Olá Fabiano,

é uma cena comum das grandes cidades brasileiras, e agora também visível em algumas menores. O velho contraste no cenário urbano. Aqui em Curitiba também temos vistas parecidas, em diferentes partes da cidade, algumas até gritantes como é o caso do Alphaville com vista para uma grande favela. Uma imagem da realidade, bem apresentada.
