Photographer's Note
Riobamba was our final stop for the day. It is the capital of the Chimborazo Province. The current city is located 20 kilometers North of the original city which was destroyed by a devastating earthquake in 1797. It is a commercial hub and cultural center for the nearby indigenous communities.
