First picture of animal taken in Llanos of Apure ...
with approximately 1M50 of him... VERY rough hair!!! Capybara (Hydrochaeris hydrochaeris)-or Chigüire over there is the largest rodent of the world. The name of "will capybara" comes from "Capivara" which means "Lord of grasses" in the language of the Guaranis Indians.
It is an animal on which its survival depends on water. Will capybaras are excellent swimmers.
