Photographer’s Note
The remains of a large building paved with color mosaics, were uncovered in 1950 on a hill located NE of the Byzantine city of Caesarea. In 2004 'The Birds Mosaic' was uncovered once again and a limited excavation was launched in 2005 on the unexplored areas of the complex.
