Oreshek Castle(Крепость Орешек)is one of the oldest fortresses in Russia. It was built in 1323 by the citizens of Novgorod, by order of Prince Yury Danilovich, grandson of Alexander Nevsky, on Orehovy Island at the mouth of Neva and Lake Ladoga.
