Photographer’s Note

This is my second photo of the market of Phat Diem. Situated in Ninh Binh Province, in the North, Phat Diem is a centre of Catholicism in the North of Vietnam.
This market is very simple but I found it amazing. Most part of the sellers there don't really have a big variety of products to sell (as I've shown in my previous photo). Guess this one was one of the few exceptions I found there. However, they are extremely nice to tourists.

Quando vi a foto pensei que tinhas voltado ao Vietnam mas depois reparei que é do ano passado. É extraordinário ver que a posição dela é a mais comum na Asia. E esta está em cima de um banquinho!!!
Gosto de ver a variedade de produtos à venda desde vegetais a peixe na caixa do lado direito.
Está bonita a tua foto.

Olá Ana,

Além das cores o do grafismo criados pela mercadoria, aquele sorriso muito aberto faz torna a foto uma daquelas coisas que nos põem bem dispostos só de olhar para ela. Acho que o sorriso e afabilidade dos asiáticos, pelo menos da pequena parte que conheço, são do contribuem mais para que a Ásia seja tão "viciante". O mote turístico da Tailândia - "A terra dos mil sorrisos" - não podia ter sido melhor escolhido, apesar de, pelo que tenho visto em fotos e documentários, se aplique a todos os países à volta.

Espero que a tua menor participação ultimamente já não tenha a ver com problemas de saúde.

Hi Ana,
A nicely composed photo with the vendor balancing precariously on the little stool surrounded by the local produce. She seems very happy to be photographed but shy as she looks away from the camera.

This kind of market is very prevalent in Asia and is always a captivating sight for photographers and visitors.
