Photographer's Note

The small village of Máriagyűd, formerly an independent settlement, today is officially the part of the town of Siklós. The church of Máriagyűd is one of the most popular pilgrimage site in the South Transdanubia region. The twin-towered church was originally built by the Franciscan order in the 18th century in the Baroque style.
