Photographer’s Note
in the theme of all saints...
Schoonselhof cemetry is in Wilrijk at the end of the line from tram number 24. It is the biggest and most impressive cemetry of Antwerp. There is an interesting sections for Commonwealth soldiers, a Jewish section and a central 'park of honour' for local dignitaries and artists, including the painter Jan Cox, the poet Paul van Ostaijen and the writer Willem Elsschot.
But my favourite is this grave of a husband and wife ('echtgenoten' in Dutch), rather simple and straightforward amidst the pump and circumstance of so many near baroque graves that surround it.
One love.

Privet, Benny,
Interesting shot! It looks like a just monument, no cemetry. Good sharpness. But this black stone looks very heavy for eyes and for this composition, I think,
Have a good WE!

Hello my dear Benny
What an another shot!
Reasonable framework/composition and thick color coordination is marvelous as usual!
Calm and solemn mood and atmosphere, I perceive.
Anyway congratulation on your masterpiece!
Thanks for sharing and best regards,
Have a nice happy Saturday night fever !

Hello Benny,
Dont think one could get closer than this. I like the idea behind this picture and as much as some people dislike eerie pictures from graveyards, I like it.
Thanks for sharing

Hallo Benny,
Ik wist niet van het bestaan van deze begraafplaats.
Dit vind ik well zeer passend voor 1 november met dit graf zonder veel luxe.
Zeer goede samenstelling en goede presentatie.
bedankt.
Prettige zondag,
John
