Photographer's Note

Le Gosier ("the throat" in english) is a municipality of the department of Guadeloupe.
Its name comes from the called pelican, in the XVIIth century, big throat because of the importance of its beak and its pocket.
Although having almost disappeared, the pelicans returned Le Gosier recently. Here, a flight of pelicans with the Basse-Terre in the background.
