Photographer's Note

Wales' own Jurrasic Coast stretching from Cardiff in the east to Ogmore in the west. This beautiful coastline is mainly rocky outcrops of limestone and sandstone in almost alternating layers which has baffled geologists. In some places there is also volcanic outcrops and layers of fossilised peat. These cliffs and limestone pavements are just to the west of the beach at Llantwit Major and stretch for about three miles at low tide.
