Photographer’s Note

LOVE is never letting her down, standing by her side and giving her a hand whenever she needs... even when the kids have grown up and the first flashes of love at first sight are far memories.

After fighting against the waves during the ritual bath, it's hard to get back to the beach. A good man's love is more handy to get on dry sands than 64 gods standing in line and watching the scene.

Hi Luko

Great photo, with a nice comment.
The natural expresion of the persons and the colours of the sunset light made the picture.
To bad the horizon has some tilt.

This is pretty incredible, Luko. We have both uploaded a shot, almost simultaneously, of LOVE--and not only love, but love by water, love of parents for their daughter... Strange...
My admiration goes to this one, again to your amazing Pondicherry sunset that is hallmark of this series to me. A beautiful composition with the S curve in the middle that elongates to the line of bathers in the sea... a very fine mood, atmosphere.

A very spontaneous shot. It superely indicated the happy family and the understanding of the couple is revealed. Nice framing and good timing as well.

Another tender shot from this series. The beautiful light sets the scene for the moment you have captured. A great shot and a lovely note. I would have cropped the from the left hand side just slightly to really focus the eye on the family.

...in the air(?)..oui je sais cette chansonnette douceâtre n'a pas grand chose à voir avec ton image...ici on touche plutot a l'Amour concret...qui nous met un enfant sur un bras tandis que l'on aide sa bien aimée de l'autre,je trouve le symbole du couple trés fort...
techniquement t'as pas tenté une petite pichenette pour éclairer les ombres genre tons clairs/tons foncés?,j'aime bien le profil de l'homme qui se détache bien mais la dame me semble peu lisible,maintenant je ne suis pas devant mon meilleur ecran non plus...

Une fois de plus un de ces images qui te fais sentir l'ambiance du lieu, avec le dynamisme et cette lumière qui tue, et ce rayon de soleil orange, juste pour réchauffer le tout. Du tout bon

Unfortunately I have to say that I don't think your message is clear enough in the image. The people are both a bit too underexposed for me, and the man helping out his wife seems to get lost into the sand and the man behind them. As the couple are the main subject here, I really think they should be the ones standing out rather than being lost in the scenery.

The things you do to get a tilted horizon looks good. :) The exposure is in the edge of darkness here in my work's CRT, but it looks perfect in my home's laptop LCD. Even here it's very good. Don't feel it underexposed at all. Light is very good and the caught moment is really nice. Love indeed.
