Photographer’s Note

Protected by Ré and Aix islands, the south-coast of La Rochelle is often windy and animated by big tides, but without big waves.
The beach near my home is mainly frequented by windsurfers and kitesurfers. I like this friendly and young community which have, in my mind, a lot of common points with photographs : Passionate by nature, light, technic and often very perfectionists in their art.

très belle scène de fin de soirée avec ce kitesurfeur ayant un penchant pour la mer :)
Et puis celui qui est au fond semble au 7ème ciel.
Bonne perspective donné par les bouées.

Hi Aline!
Fantastic light and a great composition.Excellent POV to have this row of buoys leading the eyes to the industry in the far distance.The kite surfers and their poses looke as great as the nice colors of the sea and the sky.

Belle photo, l'alignement entre les bouées et les Kite-surfeurs est sacrément bien saisi au bon moment!
Les bouées et les voiles donnent une bonne note de couleurs à l'enseemble plus uniforme du reste, ça contraste bien et les mets du coup en valeur.

Très belle photo pleine de dynamisme. La force du vent est bien démontrée et le kitesurfer dans les airs est pris au bon moment. La couleur dorée est magnifique. Bravo.

Beaucoup de dynamisme dans cette belle photo. Très jolie lumière et une belle composition avec ces bouées liées et les kitesurfers. Je crois qu'un plan plus serré sur le personnage de gauche n'aurait pas été mal non plus.

Waow, quelle lumière et quelle composition!!
Cette ligne de bouées à marée basse guide bine l'oeil dans la photo, les attitudes des surfers sont bien saisis dans des sauts, "a pied" ou sur l'eau et le tout sous une très belle lumière qui crée comme un fond estompé.
J'aime beaucoup!!

Hello Aline. A wonderful shot! I always find it difficult with wind-surfers to get the shot I would like, but you have succeeded by having other focal points like the silhouetted surfer and the rope of buoys. Your very low viewpoint has been successful here. Great lightand some nice splashes of colour. Marvellous work.

The various yellow elements make a fine balance. I like the flying surfers in the background! That in itself is also very impressing! hihihi
