Photographer’s Note

La Maremma e' una terra affascinante, fino a pochi decenni fa era decisamente inospitale, tanto da meritarsi l'appellativo di "Amara". Oggi l'uomo ha quasi completamente domato questa terra, ma ci sono dei posti in cui ancora oggi la natura e' padrona assoluta.

Maremma is a fascinating land, until little decades ago it was very hard to live here, so much that Maremma was called "Bitter". Today the man has nearly completely tamed this land, but there are of the places in which the still today nature is absolute landlady.

Hi Francesco, I like the sparseness of this image with the oddly-shaped, lone tree and it's strong shadow. If I were you I would have cropped some of the foreground, but it's still a very appealing image. Good work! Regards,
