Photographer’s Note

Believe it or not, "Halfway Log Dump" is the actual name of the Bruce Peninsula National Park trail which takes you to this gorgeous destination. The trail leads you through a forest of birch, aspen, cedar and spruce to limestone cliffs on the shores of Georgian Bay. The water here is an unusual (for northern climes) turquoise colour and absolutely clear.
