Hello Jean, What struck me first was how these houses are enclosed on several sides by green hills and by the sea. Then I saw the thatcher. Nice to live in but not easy for the workman to bring his materials when cars have to be left behind. Best regards, Paul

Hello Piotr, This pic wasn't taken to show the most attractive beach in Greece :) But the beautiful bridge is certainly a wonderful eye-catcher. The different spans make for a splendid photo. Great technical achievement to connect the Peloponese to the mainland in this place. Best regards, Paul

Hello Ali, Good combination of splendid architecture, art and many visitors. The tiles look wonderful and I really admire the ceiling above the entrance gate. Best regards, Paul

Hello Piotr, In Athens there are also some gems of beautiful old Byzantine churches surrounded by tall buildings. But I haven't seen this one in Thessaloniki. It is remarkable that the level of the street was so much lower then. Best regards, Paul

Hello Ian, Silverton's main street reminds me a bit of the main street of Kompong Phluk in Cambodia. The buildings there are also made of wood, but they look very different. It looks like a nice place to have breakfast and also to spend the night. But given the fame of this hotel the prices won't be for me. The dog was probably hoping to get breakfast from you, but the moment you took the photo, it was sadly distracted. Best regards, Paul

Hello Brenda, I think you made the right choice for the main photo. As far as photo and composition are concerned. The two other photos nicely complement your series about the new destination of the well-known ice skating rink. The two gentlemen in the WS remind me of businessmen who longed for a nice place outside to chat for a bit longer. Best regards, Paul

Hello Malgo, I think the weather is relatively important when travelling. Rain in a tropical country has its charm but rain in Belgium just ruins the day. I've had a lot of rainy days in Belgium in my life, but it has been extremely dry here for a few years now. Even too dry for nature. Who would have ever expected that? The pavement in this street looks very special. It takes your attention away from everything else. Even from the rain :) Perhaps the wet road surface makes the scene even more beautiful. Best regards, Paul

Hello Silvio, Much more leaning than every building I've ever seen. Even much more leaning than the famous tower in Pisa. I wouldn't feel safe on the stairs or under the arch to the left anymore. Best regards, Paul
