Very funny Jorrit,not often that I laugh out loud at TE pictures but this one is an exception. As with all great shots it fulfills the essential requirements list ie 1 it is so deceptively simple that we all could have done it, 2 you were lucky to be there. 3 You were lucky that the man walked by at just the right time. 4 I bet it was staged. Great work, goes to my favorites

j'adore le symbolisme de cette photo ; je n'ai pas traduit volontairement la note qui l'accompagne ; l'image se suffit à elle même ! tout juste aurait il fallu un peu plus de détails dans les parties basses de l'image.

haha..that's why I like going in the small villages at the greek mountains..because nothing can disturb you...totally peacefullness (not so good for street photographers though)... you remind me now of Greece and I felt very nostalgic...thank you for sharing... btw great photo...
